  • Bachelor degree holder
  • Legal knowledge of relevant employment laws (Malaysia or APAC)
  • Knowledgeable of HR rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Experience developing and revising HR Policies and procedures.
  • Experience creating training content and materials
  • Proven experience in HR governance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and their implications for HR governance

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY OF JOB
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring Global compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the HR governance and compliance framework ensuring adherence to legal regulations, internal policies, and best practices.
The role involves managing risks, ensuring ethical conduct, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency within the HR Function and the entire Organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and maintain HR governance strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with Global legal and regulatory requirements/regulations.
Lead the design and conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company's HR policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement governance best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to HR Team and management, on governance-related matters, compliance, risk management objectives, etc.
Monitor and analyze HR data and metrics to identify potential governance issues and recommend Global corrective or preventive actions.
Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations worldwide, and update governance frameworks accordingly.
