Our client is a renowned player within the Manufacturing industry with a global presence for over a century. They are currently looking for a Payroll Manager / Lead to join their dynamic team to assist in the business of the company.

Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related and employee queries.
  • Ensure monthly payroll activities adhere to each country's procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and timely payouts.
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and statutory requirements in each Southeast Asia country.
  • Verify payroll inputs and outputs to guarantee accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 5-7 years in payroll management; experience in managing more than one Southeast Asia country (excluding Malaysia) is advantageous.
  • Good leadership skills; a minimum of 1 year experience in a people management or supervisory role.
  • Added advantage for candidates who have a good understanding of local payroll regulations and compliance requirements across Southeast Asia countries, such as Thailand, Singapore, etc.
  • Experience in project management, such as payroll system migration projects, will be a plus.
