Position Overview: As an M&A Consultant at our leading consulting firm, you will play a critical role in providing strategic advisory services to clients across Asia. You will be responsible for supporting clients through complex mergers and acquisitions transactions, including deal origination, execution, and post-transaction integration. Your expertise will help clients achieve their business objectives while maximizing value and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Origination & Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities for clients.Evaluate and analyze the financial performance, strategic alignment, and potential synergies of potential targets.Assist clients in formulating acquisition strategies that align with their business goals. Due Diligence: Lead and manage the due diligence process, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of target companies.Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to assess risks and opportunities.Prepare due diligence reports and present findings to clients. Transaction Execution: Assist clients in structuring and negotiating M&A transactions, including valuation and deal terms.Provide insights and recommendations to optimize deal structures and financial outcomes.Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction execution. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs and objectives.Provide ongoing strategic advice and support throughout the M&A process.Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering innovative solutions and market insights. Post-Transaction Integration: Support clients in planning and executing post-transaction integration strategies.Help clients realize synergies and value creation opportunities through effective integration processes.Monitor the progress of integration initiatives and provide recommendations for improvements. Thought Leadership & Market Insights: Stay current with market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting M&A activities across Asia.Contribute to thought leadership materials, such as reports, articles, and presentations.Participate in networking and industry events to expand the firm's reach and influence. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.At least 3-5 years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, or corporate finance.Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Familiarity with regional regulations and cross-border M&A practices in Asia.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Fluency in English is required; proficiency in one or more Asian languages is a plus.Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements across Asia.
