Job Description:
  • Develop and execute strategies to incubate and grow embedded engineering capabilities within Product R&D, leveraging emerging technology trends and market demand.
  • Create business models for specific products, forging partnerships with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and channels to drive product development from concept to mass production.
  • Focus on embedded software and hardware, managing product BOM and ECN, ensuring quality assurance of incoming components and outgoing products.
  • Build and lead a development team of hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical engineers to innovate on embedded systems for tenders or futuristic products.
  • Envision product trends and market demand from emerging technology, government feedback, and tender requirements, forming partnerships with key component suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Interchange product concepts with internal and external customers, demonstrating feasibility and influencing tender specifications.
  • Drive product development from design to manufacture, managing product data in a systematic way.
  • Establish a testing and QA team to qualify key components and developed products.
Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or above.
  • Proven experience leading a team to develop embedded system products, hardware, and software, from scratch to mass production of over 1000 units.
  • 15+ years of experience in OEM/ODM/EMS manufacturing or leading brand companies.
  • 5+ years of experience in video/audio related product development.
  • 10+ years of experience managing a team of 20+ people.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, with excellent customer-facing and leadership abilities.
