Job Description- Responsible for daily accounting duties and ensuring accounting records and systems comply with the Company's policies, compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Handle SST-related matters, updating and prepare SST return form for timely submission.
- Handling statutory audit, attend to auditor/s query and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Include liaising with auditor, tax agency and company secretary.
- Continuous enhancement of internal controls, processes, and system improvements.
- Prepare payroll and handle HR-related duties. Maintain and update all human resources records such as new hires, employment confirmation, extension, termination, resignation, etc including leaves and time attendance administration.
- Ensure timely and prompt submission of daily / ad-hoc, weekly, monthly and yearly reports.
- Handling Directors and shareholders related matters, whenever required.
- Prepare monthly payment including statutory payment (EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax, etc).
- Handle external clients accounting, filing of Form E any other ad-hoc assignments.
- To liaise with all level of management team to obtain necessary documents and data.
- Handling banking and administrative matters.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa.
- Pleasant personality and able to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge in MYOB accounting software an added advantage.
