Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in executing trade marketing plans and campaigns to achieve sales objectives and enhance market share;
  • Coordinate and implement trade marketing activities such as in-store promotions, displays, and events;
  • Support the creation and distribution of trade marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and merchandising tools;
  • Conduct market research to gather insights on target customers, competitor activities, and industry trends;
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of trade marketing initiatives;
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling trade spending, including consumer promotions and trade deals;
  • Maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers by providing support, training, and customized incentives;
  • Track and analyze the performance of trade marketing campaigns, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements;
  • Help manage the trade marketing budget to ensure optimal use of resources;
  • Support in liaising with Principals for marketing fund discussions and campaign planning;
  • Ensure proper implementation of category-specific Go-To-Market strategies developed by the Trade Marketing Manager;
  • Organize and manage trade-related events and exhibitions to promote FMCG products and brands.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in trade marketing or a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry;
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; Korean language skills are an added advantage;
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
