Drive sales growth, build client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategic partnerships to expand market reach and revenue.

The main purpose of the job is primarily responsible for identifying and developing Integrated Logistics Business. Work closely with Branch Manager, Sales Team, Operation Team, Customer Service Manager, Customs Regulatory Compliance Manager, General Manager Freight Forwarding, and Managing Director to implement strategies to maximize yield from all products and gain higher business share for GAC within the Malaysian market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve personal Operating Income target and S&M Department target: Generate 3 times cost to the company from new clients and meet remaining department target from existing clients.
  2. Quotation:
    1. Maintain a 40% Quotation Strike Rate.
    2. Promptly send quotations to clients and maintain close follow-up on all quotations sent out (40 quotes per month).
  3. Sales Planning:
    1. Prepare a Weekly Sales Visit Plan and enter details of visits in GAC Sales system.
    2. Target and secure new clients (secure 4 new clients per month).
  4. Credit Management: Ensure that credit approvals are in place for all credit clients handled by the sales team. Assist the Finance department in maintaining receivables from credit accounts within agreed terms.
  5. Sales Pipeline: Prepare a minimum of 10 High Value Targets (HVT) in the sales pipeline at all times.
  6. Travel Requirement: Able to travel to any part of Malaysia to create GAC awareness in the market.
Job Requirements
  1. Possess at least a Diploma in any field or equivalent; a Diploma in Logistics/Import & Export/Transportation would be an advantage.
  2. Possess own transport with a Malaysian driving license and willingness to travel when required.
  3. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  4. Software knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  5. Minimum of 2 years' experience in air/sea/road forwarding services is desirable.
