Our consumer products group, Tissues International, is rapidly growing, and we are seeking a dedicated Human Resource Executive to join us at Grand Universal Trading. This role will report directly to the Regional HR Manager based in Indonesia.

Position Overview

The HR Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll cycle for Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, ensuring proper onboarding for new employees, managing employee insurance, and performing HR administration and operations. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role requires a meticulous and detail-oriented individual who can ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration, including medical claims and insurance for employees, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Verify timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Collaborate with HQ HR to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data and HR administration.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies for each country.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in payroll and administrative roles.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
