MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Assist in running the internal operations of client accounts on a day-to-day basis.
- Creative Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming activities, office meetings, and client consultations.
- Content Production: Assist in crafting content such as press releases, speeches, social media posts, and briefing documents.
- Support Business Pitches: Contribute to new business proposals through research, slide development on Canva, and the provision of media and social insights.
- Client Advisory: Offer counsel to clients on effective messaging strategies and mitigation of negative PR issues.
- Industry Monitoring: Keep track of, analyse, and summarise developments in client and industry news.
- Administrative Skills: Competently handle appointment scheduling, make adjustments to office timetables, and maintain office databases.
- Travel Requirement: Be prepared to travel for in-person client meetings and events.
The successful candidate will be capable of managing multiple clients, possess keen attention to detail, and have a comprehensive understanding of traditional, social, and new media technologies.
Job Requirements- Passion in public relations and/or related fields including advertising, marketing, media, and publishing. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field is a plus but not a must.
- Enthusiasm to assist and contribute to ongoing projects, including developing media lists, key messages and press releases, executive briefing materials, landscape and media audits, well-crafted pitches and strategic recommendations that integrate paid, earned, social and owned media.
- Ability to multi-task and support multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence.
- Business writing and presentation skills, ability to articulate point of view with confidence and gravitas.
- Proven track record in prioritising workload as well as supporting senior team members.
- Team player, collaborative, non-hierarchical.
- Positive and build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Delivery-driven with ability to take responsibility of tasks and accounts.
- A desire to share previous expertise and experience to enhance the work of the team.
