Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  2. Assisting in lead generation activities to attract potential clients or customers.
  3. Supporting the business development team in reaching out to clients through emails, calls, or meetings.
  4. Assisting in the development of proposals, presentations, and other materials for client meetings.
  5. Conducting competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  6. Providing support to the sales team in achieving their targets.
  7. Providing general administrative support to the business development team, such as scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field is often required.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues.
  3. The ability to analyze market trends, data, and competitor information to identify business opportunities and develop strategies.
  4. Good interpersonal skills are important for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
  5. The ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from different departments.
  6. The ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions to overcome them.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the willingness to adapt to changing business environments and requirements.
  8. The ability to take initiative and work independently when necessary.
  9. Proficiency in English and other languages such as Mandarin or Malay may be beneficial, depending on clientele.
