Your new role

We are looking for a capable individual to be part of our COE in talent acquisition for Malaysia, covering the full spectrum of the talent acquisition process. You will be responsible for attracting and sourcing candidates. This will give you a great opportunity to be a business partner to plan our talent pipeline. You will also be the brains behind employer branding activities and strategise innovative ways of promoting Hays as an employer of choice. You'll be utilising and maximising social media channels and tools to market the Hays brand as an employer of choice and showcase the career paths, culture and people at Hays.

What you'll need to succeed

In this role, you will need experience in the following areas:

  1. Conduct screening of applicants, including resume screening, phone screening and initial interviews
  2. Focus on recruitment through competitor analysis and expanding existing channels
  3. Effectively manage all aspects of the recruitment process including interviews, assessment centres and feedback to candidates
  4. Build relationships with local universities to increase the profile of recruitment consulting as a career and of Hays as an employer of choice
  5. Regularly utilise social media to communicate Hays' employee value proposition and source candidates
  6. Conduct behavioural interviews for candidates
  7. Work closely with hiring managers to identify the best talent in the market
  8. Engage with hiring managers / management team to discuss candidates after assessment centres
  9. Conduct reference checks
  10. Post and promote new jobs on all job ad platforms
  11. Prepare communication for internal referral initiatives
  12. Prepare social graphics for employer branding
  13. Run career fairs and university engagement
  14. Upgrade Join Hays website in line with Web 2.0
  15. We are also open to fresh graduates who have the aptitude to pick these skills
