Event Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- **Event Planning**: Collaborate with clients or internal teams to determine event requirements, objectives, and themes. Create detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
- **Venue and Vendor Management**: Research, select, and negotiate with venues, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary resources for events. Manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- **Logistics Management**: Oversee event logistics, including transportation, setup, and teardown. Coordinate on-site staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event operations.
- **Marketing and Promotion**: Work with the marketing team to create event promotional materials and develop marketing strategies to attract attendees and participants.
- **Registration and Attendee Management**: Set up registration processes, manage attendee lists, and handle queries or issues related to registration.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- **Risk Assessment**: Identify potential risks and challenges related to events and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- **Program Coordination**: Develop event programs and schedules, coordinating with speakers, entertainers, and presenters.
- **On-Site Coordination**: Oversee on-site event operations, managing any last-minute changes or issues that may arise.
- **Post-Event Evaluation**: Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback from clients, attendees, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and assess event success.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar event planning role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel, as required

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
