Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests; answer any questions or concerns
- Supervise the efficient operations of reception including check in/out procedures.
- Manage Guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and completely.
- Up Selling guest rooms and promoting hotel services.
- Attend to all routes of room bookings, such as online, phone, and in person, to ensure that reservations are not left hanging but attended to promptly to keep the hotel business running
- Advise shifts team of any special events or VIP Guests in the hotel that day or for events or for general accommodations.
- Confirm and update reservations, including entering data into online system.
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire Team Members to exceed standards.
- Support team members in handling guest requests and enquires to ensure a positive outcome is achieved.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships with Team Members.
- Communicate with Housekeeping departments to make sure current information on status of rooms.
- Report issues of maintenance and malfunctioning appliances to the manager for quick repair in order to ensure guests comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain orderliness at the front desk by arranging documents accordingly and keeping the front desk area clean at all times to avoid rowdiness.
- Keep updated records and files, and also maintaining records of Outward & Inward mail.
- Monitor front office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing.
- Ensure compliance with all related policies procedures.
- Handover shift: count and take the cash float money from the previous shift.
- Work with your Departmental Head to identify a specific project to complete during your probation’s placement

**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Georgetown: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 2 years (required)
- IDB System: 2 years (required)

- Day Shift (required)
- Night Shift (required)
- Overnight Shift (required)
