Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of HR, focusing on localization efforts and ensuring a best in class employee life-cycle experiences while overseeing aligning between HR strategy and overall business plans
- Design and optimize localized HR policies, processes and guidance to ensure the implementation of company policies and direction
- Design and optimize employment documents for local companies, avoid employment risks or handle ER cases to ensure local compliance
- Partners closely with Regional HR and HQ closely to roll out people initiatives, particularly Local HR support and Culture building, and other HR projects
- Be the point of contact for all HR matters such as conduct, capability, and provide the necessary support to ensure the issues are managed in line with company policy, best practice and current legislation
- Handle Ad-hoc human resources projects.

**Requirements**:
Key Requirements
- 8 years of HR COE or BP experiences from sizable organizations is preferred; experiences in Country HRM will be a plus;
- Proficient in local/SEA labor laws and possess strong awareness of market trends, best practices and to consistently share and improve on the company offering to help grow Tencent’s businesses and branding
- Strategic yet strong execution skills, self-driven, conscientious, strong adaptability and fast learner;
- Ability to work in a highly complex matrixed organization and in a start-up environment; Previous experience within the Tech & Startup sector will be highly sought after
- Proven communication capabilities and stakeholder management ability with not just in-country employees, stakeholders but HQ’s as well
- Fluency in English & Mandarin is a must;
