**THE ROLE**:
AMD is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking, and self-directed
**APAC Consumer Marketing Manager (OEM and Microsoft)** with proven ability to lead, plan and execute joint AMD, OEM and Microsoft marketing activities that produces impactful campaigns with business driven results. He/She will work closely with AMD, OEM and Microsoft teams across HQ, regional marketing and local teams (marketing and sales), starting with plan alignment all the way through to campaign reporting.
The APAC Consumer Marketing Manager reports to the APAC Consumer Marketing Lead and is responsible for co-planning and overseeing all aspects of alliance marketing activities as well as activating strategic joint marketing programs with partners.
APAC region countries include Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand.
**THE PERSON**:
- Detail oriented with strong follow-up and initiative to see KPIs met from start to completion
- Comfortable with ambiguous situations. Flexibility to change course based on new information or shifting business needs
- Experience working in a Fortune 500 global matrix organization is a plus point
- A people person - Lively, team-player, energetic, with an optimistic, can-do and go-getter attitude
- Overseas travel where necessary (case-by-case basis)
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Build, maintain and influence relationships with priority OEM accounts as well as new OEM accounts; and Microsoft marketing teams - for example: AMD involvement in OEMs/Microsoft crucial industry and company events/ launches and vice versa with OEM/ Microsoft participation in AMD led initiatives/ events
- Provide strategic marketing counsel and thought leadership for stakeholders (sales, GAM, HQ) within AMD and externally - OEM, Microsoft, agencies - for the purpose of internal reviews, external QBRs and planning sessions
- Working with AMD HQ OEM/ Microsoft team, regional and local OEM/ Microsoft and AMD teams to execute and manage alliance funding and activity execution in region and in country - ensure brand, and marketing guidelines are adhered to, provide training and program consultation, including creative review and budget reconciliation with AMD marketing operations team
- Collaborate with other cross-functional internal AMD teams - including social, PR, finance, sales
- Work with consumer marketing lead to coordinate regional and centrally driven marketing programs in coordination with the OEMs/ Microsoft
- Develop schedules, track progress, and provide quality assurance and control of projects
- Produce debriefs on campaigns and weekly/monthly/ quarterly marketing programs, including delivering regular reports including ROI tracking and budget management
- Take a proactive and positive approach in seeking ways to improve all aspects of AMD joint marketing activities and processes with OEM and Microsoft and work seamlessly across multiple internal and external stakeholders
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:
Expertise in consumer PC marketing
- Have at least 5-7 years prior experienced in a country or regional B2C (consumer) marketing role with broad marketing experience in the IT industry, OEM and semiconductor experience will be a plus
- Practical experience developing and driving partner and/or consumer marketing strategy and execution
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of consumer PC industry and specific consumer use cases/ campaigns
- Initiate strategic conversation and partnerships with OEMs (e.g. Asus, HP, Dell,etc.) and Microsoft APAC regional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skill, budget management and analytical mind and skillset in presenting data that tells a story - advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong command of English and other Asian languages would be a bonus. Ability to communicate effectively and connect with stakeholders across geographies, culture and language
- Experience in developing and activating joint, multi-partner (OEM / Microsoft) marketing programs
- Project management experience working directly with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders with the ability to juggle deadlines and customer expectations
