Receptionist / Front Desk Officer

You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the building. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including operating the Visitor Management Systems (VMS) to register visitors and assign passes, managing deliveries and redirecting phone calls.
**Responsibilities**:
Greet and welcome guests/visitors as soon as they arrive at the concierge counter
Direct visitors to the appropriate floor and office by registering visitors and assigning passes using the VMS
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook)
Arrange internal and external transportations for grab/taxi for VVIP and guests, etc.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, etc.
Perform all other ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirement:
- SPM or Diploma in any relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Visitor Management Systems (VMS)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- Experience handling VIPs will be an advantage
- **Preferably those can start immediately**
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
