Purchasing/shipping Manager

**Job Description: Duties & Responsibility**
1) Collaborate with other departments to ensure all purchase requisitions and supplies for materials, chemicals, machinery, services etc fulfil the company’s needs and requirements
2) Identify and source for local and overseas purchases
- handle contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers
3) Liaise with finance, admin and relevant departments for financial arrangements and any contractual obligations with suppliers.
4) Manage supplier relations and maintain ideal suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability
5) Raw material receiving and issuing and also the monitoring of raw material inventory level from time to time.
6) To ensure all products are properly identified, handled, stored, packed, preserved and delivered.
7) Manage stock control and adhere to best practices in warehousing, handling and data storage system
8) Ensure internal purchasing, planning, warehousing and shipping controls are in place and followed
9) Responsible to ensure the purchasing, warehousing, planning control and related activities are meeting the ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949 and other relevant regulatory requirements.
10) Keep records and update of documentation with accurate monthly and yearly report for submission to the LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) Customs Officers/Department in a timely manner
11) Ensuring all incoming and outgoing dutiable and taxable items, including machinery, scraps, WIP, rejects etc, are properly documented for Customs declaration process.
12) Lead and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for Customs compliance audit, LMW license and BON renewals
13) Be the checkpoint and coordinator for shipment and order with proper filing and records for all shipping, forwarder, supplier, customer and also customs documentation, license and cross border legislation requirements
14) Perform other related duties as assigned
**Skills/Qualification& Education Requirement**:
Diploma/ Degree in related discipline
2) 2- or 3 years' experience in Purchasing Job in Manufacturing environment and MS Office
3) Resourceful, Strong communication, negotiation and good interpersonal skill
4) Some knowledge in shipping/ logistic/ customs procedures/ inventory control
5)Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 documentation and implementation.

**Salary**: RM4,300.00 - RM5,800.00 per month
