Restaurant Manager

Position Overview:
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and management of the restaurant. You will ensure that customers have a positive dining experience, that the restaurant runs efficiently, and that financial and operational goals are achieved. Your role will involve supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory, handling customer relations, and implementing effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, efficient workflow, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, control costs, and minimize waste.
2. Staff Supervision and Training:
- Recruit, hire, and train restaurant staff, including servers, baristas and kitchen personnel.
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to optimize staffing levels and productivity.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues or concerns.
3. Customer Service and Relations:
- Ensure excellent customer service by interacting with guests, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews, making necessary improvements to enhance the dining experience.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering customer loyalty and repeat business.
4. Financial Management:
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue..
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Sound financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
- Degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred, but not always required.

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
