Airline Sales Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Formulate, implement & analyze business strategies to maximize overall sales growth and profitability in line with the corporate plan
- Secure continued growth by managing existing accounts/distribution channels and identifying and implementing new channels and growth opportunities
- Set & Achieve sales targets
- Gather market intelligence and monitor industry developments and competitor activity in the territory
- Maintain an understanding of governmental and regulatory issues that can impact our business in the territory
- Prepare regular reports and review sales performance with the Management on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Functional Duties Develop sales strategies, set sales targets and key KPIs for the department to align with the overall Regional Commercial plan Provide perspectives and insights on global trends related to the aviation industry, especially on air ticket selling related; analyse trends and identify business opportunities and threats
- Lead and manage the distribution channel(s) and team(s) to align with the Airline model and priority interest.
- Actively contribute to the strategic plans within the off-line portfolio, ensuring that plans accurately reflect the needs of the market.
- Maintain existing and develop new trade customer relationships
- Oversee operations of sales support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and provide support as needed
- Coordinate with respective team leads/heads and other relevant parties to identify new business opportunities
- Review sales performance and provide support to other points of sales (POS) as needed
**Job Requirement**:
- Minimum qualification is Diploma/Degree holder in any field with at least five (05) years of commercial experience in sales and distribution sectors, knowledge of the aviation business is preferable
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills with a firm, decisive and mature personality
- Achievement-orientated, self-starter, independent and possess a high degree of self-motivation and able to work under pressure and multitasking.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation, sales and presentation skills;
- Proven track record of successful sales and client relationship management
- Experience in staff management and development is an asset
- Ability to understand complex business processes, technology and products and the benefit they can bring to the portfolio;
- Proficient in both written and spoken in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to relocate to Penang, Malaysia
- Preferably Immediately basis
**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
