**Responsibilities**:

- Develop new business and longterm account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
- Develop, coordinate and implement marketing plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
- Develop sales presentations, conduct seminars and participate in meetings with clients and external vendors.
- Complete RFP's and proposals, follow up on submissions and close business. Be aware of organizational growth initiatives regarding market and target customer segments, and the company’s potential to meet customer needs.
- Oversee, maintain and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
- Coordinate, manage and resolve account maintenance issues.
- Benchmark state-of-the-art practices to recommend profit and service improvements.
- Plan multiple projects simultaneously. Estimate, track and complete projects on time and within budget
- Ability to understand the development required to enable the design requirements to be delivered
- Analyse customer product specifications and applicable regulations /legislations for their area of the programme
- Define the product functional analysis (based on standard) to translate customer specifications and internal requirements into clear product performance criteria
- Agree the material choice proposed is able to meet mechanical performance requirements
- Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation associated with the analysis process
- Use tools to gather data on system performance

**Skills and/or Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ direct sales experience
- Minimum experience dealing with Fire Fighting/ safety related.
- Ample experience within oil & gas industry.
- Must be extremely effective at initiating high-level contacts in accounts and have strong presentation skills to close the sale.
- Creativity and ingenuity in developing successful sales strategies; have a working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming.
- Ability to generate leads and build business in a wide-open market.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,654.78 - RM9,486.11 per month
