**Language Checker Coordinator**
Purpose of Job: The Language Checker Coordinator supports the post-production team with ensuring that the daily ‘As Rec’ scripts are transcribed, and the audio files are checked with complete accuracy within the agreed timescales. You will support the post service helping to ensure the timely completion of agreed deliverables and milestones are met. You will work to support the incoming and active projects in a fast-paced environment so you must be easily adaptable. The role will involve working with a diverse group of people day-to-day and requires confident coordination and planning. You can stay calm and organised in busy situations and approach challenges with a positive attitude. Attention to detail is critical within this role and must be held to the highest standard.
**Duties and Key Responsibilities**
- Proofreading and QA-checking audio files match the dialog script, through transcription.
- Make sure the ‘As Recorded’ script is kept up-to-date and maintained, adjusting, or adding notes on each line of text.
- Note any problems of each line, such as poor pronunciation, wrong text, wrong grammar etc.
- Support management to source appropriate linguistic talent for upcoming projects.
- Train new talent for language checking work, ensuring our practices and protocols are met.
- Collaborate and work seamlessly with the whole post team with active or upcoming work. - Understand and abide by individual project specifications.
- Data entry.
- Ensure the server is always up to date with the latest updates from the LQA process.
- Assist the Post-Production Team with their day-to-day tasks wherever possible.

**Knowledge, Experience and Skills**
- Fluent in 1 other language other than English.
- Excel/Google sheets knowledge.
- Strong time-management, communication (both written and oral), and organisational skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills an advantage.
- Self-driven, resourceful and a team player who can work well with all levels.
