Procurement Executive

As a Procurement Officer at our Early Childhood Kindergarten company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations by efficiently managing the procurement process. You will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory of supplies and materials essential for the daily operations of our kindergarten.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Sourcing and Procurement**:Identify reliable suppliers/vendors for various materials and supplies required for the kindergarten. Obtain competitive price quotations, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of goods while maintaining quality standards.
- **Inventory Management**:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track usage patterns, and anticipate future needs to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers/vendors to ensure timely deliveries, resolve any issues or disputes, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for procurement contracts.
- Cost Management: Monitor procurement budgets, analyze spending patterns, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or service levels.
- **Compliance and Documentation**: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations governing procurement activities. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- **Process Improvement**:Continuously review and evaluate procurement processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for inventory management and data analysis.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
