**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

**General HR matters**
- Assist with all internal and external HR related matters
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
- Prepare and update HR policies and employment records as related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
- Explain human resource policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
- Ensure new hire/exiting employees’ administrative documents and files are processed and completed
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activities, assist with budget monitoring
- Process all personnel action forms and ensure proper approval in systems
- Coordinate training programs, such as new joiner orientation, ME modules
- Support employee engagement activities

**Payroll, Expatriate and Mobility Management**
- Responsible for all payroll and employment permit processes and liaising with 3rd parties as necessary to complete tasks

**Employee Relations**
- Address any employee relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations

**Others**
- Work on ad hoc projects, other duties as assigned
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices

**Education and/or Experience.**
- BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience

**Qualifications**
- Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist in Shared Services environment
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Must be detail-oriented and able to quickly and accurately manipulate large amounts of electronic data using spreadsheets, databases, and various other types of files
