We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Finance & Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Finance & Accounting Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will be responsible for various financial tasks, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable management, and tax preparation. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations, and leading a team of finance and accounting professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Finance & Accounting Manager in day-to-day financial operations and strategic planning.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Oversee the processing of invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and support the annual audit process, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Review tax computations, prepare and submit tax returns, and liaise with tax agents and authorities regarding tax matters.
- Liaise with bankers, company secretarial, and other statutory bodies/authorities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- To execute any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior or any other persons designated by the company.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or accounting and finance professional certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position, preferably in property management/ retail mall industry.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.; experience with IFCA accounting software preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethics, integrity, professionalism, and continuous learning.

**Salary**: From RM6,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
