**ROLE SUMMARY**

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**

The role shall ensure compliance and oversight for Cyber and Information Security, internally and externally and will work collaboratively with external authoritative stakeholders from regulators to National Authorities, vendors and specialists in supporting the assigned BAT Zone.

**What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?**

Drives Cyber maturity improvements to Board-committed levels through continuous roadmap planning, assessment against changing business risks, and execution oversight in the assigned BAT zone.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Maintaining vision and strategy, with continued maturity and evolution of Cyber Security activities, to ensure Information Assets and technologies are adequately technically and procedurally protected.
- Provides essential leadership in advancing the strategic direction, organises, directs, and administers the team’s resource management (e.g., forecasting, staffing and budget planning), and manages budgets and contracts within the region.
- Responsible for identifying and building KRI/KPIs, cyber risk quantification, board reports, and interacting with cross-functional leadership in the region
- Work collaboratively with the business risk and Information Asset Owners to ensure a structured plan of work is in place to mitigate business and technology risks
- Provide advice and assurance to the regional business and technology teams that all risk management decisions are justified and accountable in the context of the business requirement and there is a clear understanding of any potential business impact.
- Lead and maintain an effective Cyber Security & Information Assurance capability through a small team of SMEs
- Lead the Cyber Security and Information Assurance process across the region including support of group policies, adherence to standards and the dissemination of controls, procedures and authoritative guidance.
- Ensuring compliance and auditing Cyber and Information Security (internal and external (e.g. with suppliers); and working with external authoritative stakeholders from regulators to National Authorities, vendors and specialists.
- Ensure appropriate levels of reporting is provided to the Business leadership, Executive leadership and to the Board via the Audit Risk and Assurance Committee.
- Provide oversight and leadership to the OT cyber security program in defined zones ensuring all factories, and R&D facilities in zone meet OT cyber security standards and support monitoring and incident response activities.
- Identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining processes to reduce IT risks across the organisation through awareness training and communications campaigns.
- Monitors changes in business, technology, and threat environments to identify and develop strategies for addressing new risks to BAT systems and information.
- Assesses the cost of potential threats relative to the cost of solutions required to eliminate or minimise threats and leads solution planning and estimating of programs and projects;

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE**

**Experience Required**
- 10+ years of professional experience in information security and technology with a record of increasing scope and responsibility.
- 10+ years of experience with processes, tools, techniques, and practices to ensure adherence to standards associated with accessing, altering, and protecting organisational data.
- Experience developing and managing a strategic roadmap tied to the team's business line objectives and day-to-day operations
- Experience with manufacturing, R&D or supply chain environments
- Hands-on experience running a program office with multiple programs and program managers.
- Proven experience organising and directing multiple teams and departments
- Demonstrated experience managing direct, indirect, and outsourced resources
- Experience building KRI/KPIs, cyber risk quantification, and board reports
- Experience in process improvement around business processes and standard operating procedures.
- Understanding and experience with CIS Benchmarks, i.e., security configuration and countermeasures and prioritisation.
