Asia/Pacific Operational Insights & Analytics Manager

Join the Global Sales Operations team as a leader of the APAC Operational Insights and Analytics team. Be an integral part of an Analytics ecosystem embedded into the core revenue generation motions.

We are looking for an analytics manager to join our growing team of data analytics experts and manage the process and people responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis. The Operational Insights and Analytics (OIA) Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the APAC team located in India & Malaysia. The Global Operations Analytics team partners with stakeholders across Sales, Support, Services and Operations to design, develop, execute, and manage analytic tools and data driven insights.

This role expects a 50/50 distribution of time between people management and BI development.

**Core Job Responsibilities**:

- People Leader- Foster professional development of the APAC OIA team
- Recruit, train, develop and coach a team of cross functional Insight Analysts.
- Build effective partnerships with key stakeholders across global Sales, Operations, IT and BI internal team members.
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Analytics Leader- Build, develop and maintain data models, analytic solutions, dashboards, and performance metrics to support key business decisions.
- Leverage modern tools and cloud infrastructure to develop scalable data sets that meet business/operational reporting and analysis needs.
- Development of optimized insight solutions and leverage SDLC methodology to design, develop and test to ensure all data, reporting and analytics solutions are accurate.
- Effectively prepare, document, and communicate insights.
- Demonstrated Project/Program Management skills

Minimum Qualifications Necessary to Perform the Role:

- At least 4 years of experience in a position of monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data, and at least 2 years of experience leading a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business process, data or information management, data flows and data relationships
- Seen as a strong role model with the proven ability to hire, mentor and develop people in successful high-impact teams.
- Proven ability to drive change through positive influence of co-workers, leadership, and business partners
- Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes. Strong business acumen in Engineering/Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to establish time estimates, prioritization, and requirements for projects owned.
- 3+ years of experience in visualization tools like Tableau, Salesforce Analytics, Tableau CRM (formerly Einstein Analytics)
- Strong SQL skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases in a B2B environment.
