Finance & Accounts Manager

**Responsible for**:
Accounts Executive, Finance Executive, Accounts and Administration Executive and Procurement Executive
**Responsibilities and expectations of all roles**:
1. To undertake this responsibility in line with the mission, vision and core values of company
2. To undertake this responsibility in line with all published policies, procedures, guidelines, protocols and other documents, and to keep abreast of any changes to the aforementioned documentation.
3. To undertake this responsibility in line with best practices of child protection and safeguarding.
**Specific responsibilities and expectations of this role**:
**1. Financial Planning and Budgeting**:
- Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- **2. Financial Reporting**:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
- Present financial reports to senior management and board members, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
**3. Cash Flow Management**:
- Monitor daily and monthly cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash management and minimize financial risks.
**4. Financial Analysis**:
- Conduct regular financial analysis, including profit and loss statements, budget variance analysis, and cost assessments.
- Prepare and present financial reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
**5. Operational Budget Support**:
- Assist line management in the preparation of operational budgets for various departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgetary compliance and effective resource allocation.
**6. Billing and Collections**:
- Oversee billing processes and collection procedures.
- Manage outstanding accounts and implement strategies for efficient debt recovery.
**7. Payment Management**:
- Supervise payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to vendors and service providers.
- Follow up with outstanding debtors to maintain positive financial relationships.
**8. Legal and Regulatory Compliance**:
- Manage and ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations.
- Handle legal, banking, audit, and tax-related matters.
**9. Project Management**:
- Lead financial aspects of ad-hoc projects, including school expansion initiatives.
- Provide financial expertise and analysis to support project planning and execution.
**10. Miscellaneous Duties**:
- Undertake any other financial or administrative duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
