**Summary Description**

The **Sales Event Executive** will be responsible for the research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities, research and analyze sales options, meet with potential clients to determine their needs, build and maintain relationships with clients and prospect, collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales report.

**Responsibilities**
- Identifying and creating new event sales leads. Attending and responding to Client’s enquiries and to convert enquiries into sales.
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing special events and activities including managing all event-setup and follow-up processes at the Company’s Event Hall. Plan and executive internal events & activities.
- Collecting Client’s database through exhibition / expo participations, telemarketing & digital media sources. To submit Weekly & Monthly Sales Report to the Management.
- Coordinating and communicating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the event are running smoothly.
- Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.
- Answer client / bookers questions about event facilities / services (e.g., hours of operation, rates, packages, promotions, entertainment, F&B requirements, etc.) and prepare quotation.
- Ensuring accurate accounting of all charges and deposits related to each event.

- **This role is not fully desk-bound - among expectations include physically meeting the clients, showing around the event venue - the role is expected to advise and manage the F&B requirements of the clients.**_

**The Person**

You’ll have demonstrable experience in researching, developing and implementing venue marketing strategies and a strong background of promoting venue spaces to clients (both existing and prospective) to maximise occupancy & commercial income and grow lead generation. You’ll have a strong all-round skill set of business development, targeting new business, up-selling and client relationship building along with a good understanding of venue-side event operations and some experience of / or exposure to organise corporate, private and commercial events for guests.

**Qualifications**
- Possess at least Diploma in administration, hospitality, event management or related field. Certification in sales or marketing will be an asset.
- Proven experience in Event Sales & Coordination and / or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus.
- Positive, cheerful with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- People person with strong sales personality.

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
