The HR & Talent Acquisition Manager plays an important leadership role in our Kuala Lumpur office and will be responsible for leading and managing all things related to HR & Talent Acquisition.

The role is responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to business units, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and business objectives.

**Make an Impact by**:
**HR Business Partnering**
- Strategic HR Support: Partner with business unit leaders to understand their strategic objectives and develop HR initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
- Organizational Development: Identify opportunities to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement through training, coaching, and development programs.
- HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment, promote employee engagement, and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

**Talent Acquisition**
- Lead and execute talent acquisition strategies to meet hiring needs and business objectives
- Drive sustainable talent acquisition strategies and provide high-quality recruitment advisory to line managers for core recruitment and leadership roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand talent requirements and develop recruitment plans tailored to specific roles
- To engage the BU Leads and Leadership in regular updates and communication including solutions for addressing recruitment gaps
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in talent acquisition, incorporating new insights and innovations into recruitment strategies.

**Skills for Success**:

- Business partner experience with proven capabilities to develop and lead strategic HR plans and solutions.
- Experienced in successful implementation of strategic HR & Talent Acquisition plans and solutions, dealt with organization strategies and complex business challenges
- Demonstrated ability to influence with courageous authenticity and build trust with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated customer-centricity through day-to-day interactions, anticipating needs and showing cultural awareness and business understanding
- Strong project management skills are essential for overseeing projects from start to finish, including communication, planning, execution, and evaluation.
- The ability to think strategically and align HR & Talent acquisition initiatives with the organization's long-term goals and objectives is crucial for success in this role.
- Proficiency in using metrics and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions is highly valued.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to convey complex HR concepts to a diverse audience.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience working with leadership teams and in a matrix organization
- Understanding of relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices is essential
