OBJECTIVE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION - To provide efficient and effective support services for the Purchase Requisition (PR) as required by thecompany accordance to Procurement Policy & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) - Review purchase requisition for sub-con and determines if the services are budgeted - Review and check if the Purchase Requisition is complete with regards to services to be rendered for approval by the requesting department - Prepares for tender exercise if items are budgeted and if the value requires one - Prepares Request for Quotation and send to selected suppliers or tenderers and responsible to negotiate price with considering of meeting specification, delivery lead time and payment term - Prepare for summary on successful Quotation report for approval - Prepare Purchase Approval Form and submits Purchase Order (PO) to successful suppliers - Prepare Offer Letters on appointment to successful suppliers or tenderers - Participates in negotiation of contracts and prepares term of contract for procurement - To increase number of new approved panel vendor and alternative material for better price - Manages and reviews performance of registered suppliers/vendors to determine their credibility - Monitors progress of sub-contractors, purchases and tenders to ensure meets target/deadlines - Prepares weekly or monthly report for submission to direct superior
