**1. Ingredient Preparation**:

- Measure and sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) in advance.
- Ensure ingredients like butter and eggs are at room temperature for better incorporation.

**2. Preparing Baking Pans**:

- Grease and line cake pans with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Grease cookie sheets or use parchment paper to prevent sticking.

**3. Mixing Batter/Dough**:

- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy for cake batters.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients separately for cookies and then combine them.
- Use an electric mixer or stand mixer for consistent results.

**4. Adding Flavors**:

- Assist in adding extracts (vanilla, almond, etc.) or other flavorings for enhanced taste.

**5. Incorporating Mix-ins**:

- Add chocolate chips, nuts, or other mix-ins evenly into the batter or dough.

**6. Cake Layering**:

- If making layered cakes, help in evenly dividing the batter between the cake pans.

**7. Temperature Control**:

- Preheat the oven to the required temperature before baking.
- Monitor the oven to ensure the correct temperature is maintained.

**8. Baking Time Monitoring**:

- Keep an eye on the cakes or cookies while they're baking to prevent overcooking.
- Use a toothpick to check for doneness. It should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

**9. Cooling Assistance**:

- Help in transferring baked goods to a cooling rack after they come out of the oven.

**10. Frosting/Decoration Preparation**:

- Prepare frosting or icing according to the recipe.
- Help in spreading frosting on cakes or decorating cookies.

**11. Clean-Up**:

- Assist in cleaning bowls, utensils, and other tools used during the baking process.

**12. Presentation**:

- Assist in presenting the final product attractively on serving plates or trays.

**13. Storage**:

- Help in storing leftover cakes or cookies in airtight containers to maintain freshness.

**14. Troubleshooting**:

- Alert the baker to any unusual smells, colors, or other signs during the baking process.

**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM2,509.00 per month
