Production Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Chef to join our culinary team. As a Production Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the preparation and production of food items for our establishment. Your role will involve maintaining high culinary standards, ensuring efficiency in the kitchen, and contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Food Production**:
- Prepare and produce a wide variety of menu items, adhering to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain the quality and consistency of all dishes produced, ensuring they meet the highest culinary standards.
- Execute cooking techniques and methods to deliver exceptional taste, presentation, and texture of food items.
**Kitchen Operations**:
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to organize and prioritize daily production tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Manage ingredient inventory and ensure proper stock levels for production, minimizing wastage and maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to sanitation and hygiene regulations.
- Prepare Delivery Orders for our Licensees to be delivered.
**Menu Innovation**:
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to contribute to menu development and innovation, suggesting new dishes and improvements to existing ones.
- Stay updated with culinary trends, ingredients, and techniques to enhance the overall menu offerings.
- Prepare and write Recipe Books for Licensee and Production Team.
**Quality Control**:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all food items leaving the kitchen meet the established standards for taste, appearance, and temperature.
- Regularly taste and evaluate food items to maintain consistent quality and make necessary adjustments.
**Team Leadership**:
- Provide guidance and direction to kitchen staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering skill development and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Train licensee on food preparation
**Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to food safety regulations and health department standards to guarantee the safety of both customers and team members.
- Monitor and enforce proper handling and storage of food items to prevent contamination or spoilage.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Chef, Production Chef, or similar role in a high-volume culinary environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredient sourcing, and food presentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with kitchen staff.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
- Creativity and a passion for experimenting with flavors and menu innovation.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a demanding kitchen environment.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
