**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Job Title **:HR Manager (Construction Firm)**

Location : Shah Alam

Job Summary:
The HR Manager will lead and oversee multiple facets of the human resources function, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Industrial Relations (IR), Employee Relations (ER), and Training & Development. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to align HR practices with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Talent Acquisition**:
1.1 Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

1.2 Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a seamless recruitment process.

1.3 Lead and mentor the Talent Acquisition team.

2. **Compensation & Benefits**:
2.1 Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.

2.2 Conduct regular market surveys to benchmark and ensure the competitiveness of the organization's total rewards.

2.3 Address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.

3. **Industrial Relations (IR)**:
3.1 Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, handling disputes and negotiations as needed.

4. **Employee Relations (ER)**:
4.1 Oversee employee relations programs to maintain a positive workplace culture.

4.2 Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.

5. **Training & Development**:
5.1 Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

5.2 Identify training needs and collaborate with department heads to address skill gaps.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred with 20 years in Human Resource Management, preferably in the construction industry.

2. Proven experience in HR management with a focus on Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, IR, ER, and Training & Development.

3. Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations.

4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
