Customer Service Specialist

As a Data Governance Analyst within the financial services industry, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity, accuracy, security, and compliance of the organization's data assets. You will work closely with various teams, including data management, IT, risk management, compliance, and business units, to establish and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards. Your role will be crucial in maintaining data quality, protecting sensitive information, and enabling effective decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: -Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework. -Collaborate with stakeholders to create and document data governance policies, standards, and procedures. -Oversee data quality assessment initiatives and establish data quality metrics to measure and report on the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data. Identify data quality issues, investigate their root causes, and work towards implementing corrective actions. -Implement processes for data lifecycle management, including data retention, archiving, and disposal. -Analyse data for various products of the company. -Should be capable of converting business problems and possible solutions through visual representation of data. Qualifications and Skills: -Graduate in any disciplines, Master's degree is a plus. -Proven experience (typically 5-7 years) in data governance, data management, or related roles within the financial services industry. -Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality management, data classification, and regulatory compliance standards in the financial services sector. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and levels of the organization. -Understanding of data-related technologies and tools, such as Apache Atlas will be a plus -Mandarin speaking abilities is a must since you will be interacting with people in China and Taiwan
