**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions ranging from organizational planning, organizational development, employment, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits to employee services.
- Leads and provides ongoing guidance and training to the human resource personnel in carrying out their roles and responsibilities. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Oversee and manage overall manpower planning and recruitment process. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys (up to date strategy). Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with regulations.
- Oversee and responsible for monthly payroll processing, payroll report, statutory submission, and ensure compliance with the government authorities.
- Manage employee discipline or employee relations issues, grievances, and counselling on work-related problems. Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
- Protect interest of employees and the Company in accordance with Company HR policies and government laws and regulations.
- Responsible for developing and set-up Company standard written employee guidelines on rules and regulations. Maintain and update employee handbook, performance appraisal, forms, SOP, policies, and other HR related documents, ensure employees understand and comply with the policies.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Serve as contact point for legal/government agencies in dealing with complicated employee issues relating to employment, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and nurture a positive working environment.
- Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by management.

**Requirements and qualifications**
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in F&B, hospitality, retail, or service-oriented industries
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and current HR best practices
- Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
- Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning, problem-solver, strong ethical standards
- Additional HR education and certification will be a plus

Location: Glenmarie, Shah Alam

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
