Key Responsibility Area: 1. Identify potential business opportunities for the company in Malaysia and Indonesia, mainly in plantation industry; this involves conducting market research, analysing industry trends, and staying updated on market dynamics to identify areas of growth and potential partnerships. 2. Lead generation and prospecting by networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms to identify and connect with potential clients or partners. 3. Developing and nurturing relationships with clients and stakeholders, building effective relationship management to build trust, negotiate deals, and ensure long-term partnerships that benefits the company. 4. Developing proposal and presentations to showcase the company’s products and service to potential clients which includes understanding client needs, preparing compelling value propositions, and presenting solutions that meet their requirements 5. Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, R&D, and project to align strategies, leverage resources, and ensure execution of business development initiatives. 6. Stay informed about industry trends & market dynamics, and provides to the company of strategic decision-making. 7. Engage in negotiations and deal closures with clients or partners, including negotiating terms, contracts, and pricing to ensure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements. 8. Tracking and reporting on business development activities and performance, includes generating reports, analysing key metrics (OKR/KPI), and presenting updates and performance to the management. QUALIFICATION: 1. Diploma or higher in business administration, sales & marketing or a related field is commonly preferred. 2. Previous experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field is required. The level of experience can be 1-3 years. Adding advantage with experience in construction project industry in plantation in Malaysia and Indonesia. 3. Understanding and knowledge in industry is required to identify opportunities and develop effective strategies. 4. Effectively communicate, persuade, and negotiate with clients & partners to achieve desired outcomes. 5. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 6. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. 7. Effective communication skills both written and verbal, should be able to deliver compelling presentation, write persuasive proposals and communicate complex ideas clearly. 8. Ability to achieve targets & drive revenue growth, being result-oriented, goal-driven, and able to work under pressure. 9. Holding valid driving license and drive independently into plantation areas and estates. 10. Added advantage for experience in Indonesia plantation market.
Probase is a manufacturer products in regards to soil road and road maintenance. On top of producing innovative products, we also involve in soil road construction called as "Probase Road". We have also introduced the concept of Cold Mix in rectifying potholes in asphalt roads. Probase have laboratory to ensure stringent quality control and to conduct extensive R & D activities.
