**Main Responsibility**:

- To assist the General Manager/Senior Manager/ Manager/Asst. Manager Marketing & Corporate Communications in overseeing the overall Marketing & Corporate Communications activities of Underwater World Langkawi.

**Job Descriptions**:
**Specifically, to carry out the following works**:
**Sales and Ticketing Matters**
- To be accountable to all matters pertaining to the marketing and ticketing aspects of the outlet including sales report and pricing structure.
- To assist the General Manager in developing Business Plan for UWL.
- To develop and execute Marketing Plan for UWL.
- To assist the General Manager in developing Outlet’s Yearly Budget Plan and to draft and execute UWL’s Marketing and Corporate Communication Budget Plan.

**Performance Analysis**
- To be able to analyse qualitatively and quantitatively UWL’s performance and sum up the performances in the MIS Manager’s Report every month and to analyse yearly performances of UWL and ESVL.

**Proposals (Marketing and Sales related matters)**
- To write proposals on Travel Fairs and other marketing and sales related proposals and to submit sales report post events.

**To monitor and manage the sales aspects namely**:

- Travel Agents Contracts
- Tour Guide IDs
- Daily Sales Report
- Monthly Sales Report
- Verification of daily sales collection
- To monitor and manage the marketing aspects including;
- e mail blast to potential clients
- To close sales with new agents
- To close sales with Corporate Bodies
- To close deals with Government agencies including Schools
- To do proposal for Trade Fairs participation and to attend to the trade fairs affair.
- To monitor online purchases.
- To develop sales mediums.
- To increase number of arrivals.
- To acquire the passage ID for Ticketing and Reports ICT matters and to upgrade and monitor accordingly.
- To liaise with vendors on ticketing ICT matters.

**Monitoring**
- To monitor revenue from ticket sales distribution channels
- To increase revenue from ticket sales.
- To increase revenue from other income (cards).

**Business Ethics and Accountability**
- To implement good and sustainable practices and uphold confidentiality and business ethics.
- To assist the marketing team in tourism fairs, exhibition and roadshows in promoting UWL throughout Malaysia and overseas.
- To attend seminars/conferences related to tourism industry which involve interest/ focus groups such as government bodies, educational bodies, associations, travel agents, tourism players etc.
- To update information, products or services by providing clear, accurate and relevant information.
- To acquire strong and sound knowledge about the products and services of the company.
- To plan and execute any marketing and educational related activities.

- To ensure that good communication line is maintained with colleagues and/or subordinates.
- To report for duty punctually, be well groomed, wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times in order to set a good role model for all employees.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- To have a thorough and complete understanding of the Company’s Employee Handbook and adhere to the regulations stipulated at all times as well as to the SOPP.

- To perform any related duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Management / immediate superior.
- To provide information to customer’s/ target market effectively.
- To ensure that the image of the Company is maintained within the standards at all times.
- To maintain confidentiality when dealing with clients and other company employees

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
