Job Title**:Industrial Relations Consultant (LLB)**

**Overview**: As an Industrial Relations Consultant with an LLB degree, you will be responsible for managing and advising on all aspects of labor relations within an organization. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, employment, Trade union acts, resolving disputes between employees and management, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and providing guidance on employee relations issues. You will play a critical role in fostering positive relationships between management and employees while promoting a fair and productive work environment.

**Job Description**:
**1. Compliance Assurance**:

- Stay up-to-date with labor laws, regulations, employment, Trade union acts and industry standards.
- Ensure the organization's policies and practices comply with legal requirements.
- Conduct audits to assess compliance with labor laws and regulations.

**2. Employee Relations**:

- Serve as a point of contact for clients management regarding grievances, disputes, and other workplace issues.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees and management.
- Provide advice and guidance to management on handling disciplinary actions and terminations.

**3. Collective Bargaining**:

- Participate in negotiations with labor unions to establish collective bargaining agreements.
- Analyze labor market trends and industry benchmarks to inform bargaining strategies.
- Draft, review, and interpret collective bargaining agreements.

**4. Training and Education**:

- Develop and deliver training programs on labor laws, employee rights, and workplace policies.
- Educate management and employees on best practices for maintaining positive labor relations.

**5. Legal Support**:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law issues.
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, policies, and agreements.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings related to labor disputes, if necessary.

**6. Policy Development**:

- Collaborate with HR and management to develop policies and procedures related to employee relations and labor management.
- Ensure policies are consistent with legal requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience ( 3years) working in labor relations, preferably in a consultancy role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
- Familiarity with HR practices and policies.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings or negotiations.
- Commitment to staying updated on changes in labor laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, especially during labor negotiations or disputes.
