To ensure that mise en place for food preparation is completed for the daily production
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Responsible to maintain food logs.
- To carry out daily and weekly activities such as, temperature checks, food labeling/ dating, storage, scheduled kitchen cleaning
- To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
- To remove any hazards and report any defects in the kitchen or equipment to a senior chef
- To be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a kitchen environment
- Show a commitment by learn and grow as a professional chef during the period of employment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- To be familiar with the opening and closing procedures of the kitchen and carry them out as expected
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers.
- Commis chef are also required to ensure that all stocks are well maintained.
- Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the company
- Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
- Attend the training being conducted and implement in daily operations and improve the quality of food.
- To comply with any reasonable request from your superiors
- Weekly stock taking and ordering supplies for production usage
- Place orders in a timely manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
