**The day-to-day activities**:
- **Functional**_
1. Achieve team monthly collection targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) by leading and motivating the team members to achieve their individual targets.
2. Monitor the team’s collection efforts, ensuring processes and policies are adhered to.
3. Handle first level internal or external escalation and other ad hoc issues.
4. Manage disputes identified by associates. Arrange discussion with the person-in-charge to resolve the dispute.
5. Identify and analyse common billing issues and disputes. Work with respective teams to perform Root Cause Analysis and take actions to prevent the recurrence of these issues.
6. Coach team members on building reliable, trusty, and long-term relations with assigned clients.
7. Develop strong working relationship with Account Manager/Sales Executive, Finance personnel and other stakeholders.
8. Integrate the team’s insights on clients’ Purchase Order requirement, payment cycle and invoice approval route into our billing process to reduce collection cycle time.
10. Provide collection status to support Finance’s review of provision of doubtful debts and bad debts.
11. Provide collection forecast and report to Finance and business teams.
12. Lead collection process documentation and improvement activities.
13. Provide support for bad debt recovery actions.
14. Ad hoc assignment.

1. Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting is a plus
2. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in performing Collections role
3. Experience in a call centre is a plus (Collections or customer service)
4. Experience using Oracle Financials Cloud system is a plus
5. Highly knowledgeable in Collection and Accounts Receivable processes
6. Proactive and result-focused
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Able to work under pressure
9. Problem-solving and negotiation skills
10. Able to articulate clearly in both written and spoken English
11. Team player
12. Leadership skills
13. Advanced Excel skills to analyse data and prepare reports
