- Responsibilities
Responsible:
Overall responsibility of obtaining profitable results through the team by developing sales team in own region.
Assist and guide the stores in preparing the annual sales budget and monitoring the performance of the stores in meeting the budget.
To investigate budget deviations and provide monthly store sales performance summary report for review.
Responsible for driving result of the region by training and developing promoters (CSO) through motivation, counseling, skill development and product knowledge development.
Work in close association with the Regional Managers and promoters (CSO) to achieve the overall sales.
Explore and conduct promotional events and activities at the targeted outdoor locations towards the migrant workers such as road show, distribute leaflet, posters, newsletters and banner at migrant premises, night marketing at migrant’s hostel or festival program.
Coordinate and participate in any promotional activities and road shows at stores, working with event managers and or related stakeholders.
Identifying locations of business opportunities or expansion of market share for IME Ria branding and advertising.
Conduct store visits, both schedule and unscheduled. Scheduled visit to each store must be done at least once every 7 consecutive days. Unscheduled visit can be done randomly or as and when needed. Areas where compulsory checks are to be conducted on each visit: Operations checklist, Security checklist, Petty cash, Foreign currencies, General expenses, Capital expenditures, Cash holdings, Business volume, and Complaints received and resolved, Staffing matters.
Conduct periodic checks to ensure that all stores adhere to Standing Operating Procedures, guidelines and instructions issued by Head Office and Regulatory Authorities.
Submit comprehensive report on each store visits to Head Office.
Escalate issues relating to crisis or impending crisis that may lead to declaration of disaster, which necessitate the invocation of Business Continuity Plan.
In addition, in the day-to-day job, the Regional Sales Head will have to:
Guarantee service to the stores customers on day to day basis and act with the aim to growing the volume of transaction by being a visible presence in the market place.
Be responsible to respond to requested information from Head office and stores in a timely manner.
Report to the Retail Sales Manager on regular and timely basis to ensure that he/she is fully and correctly briefed in all aspects of your work.
Draft a ‘’weekly report” plan and how it compares against agreed targets.
Attend the sales meetings.
- Qualifications
Degree in any field.
Working experience more than 5 years.
Experience in Money Exchange and Remittance business will be added advantage.
Strong in compliance and operational processes.
Team leader.
Sales oriented person.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and Public Holiday
Some computer knowledge with ability to use MS Word and Excel;
Cash handling experience is highly preferred;
Strong customer service skills.
Your positive attitude and effective communication skills will be essential to work alongside your team members and create outstanding services for the customers.
