Program Coordinator

**Job Purpose**:
To facilitate the structure, planning, and coordination of academic programmes and projects.
**Typical duties**
1. Assist in the creation and implementation of the institution's academic and non-academic programmes.
2. Manage administrative responsibilities associated with programmes, such as registering students, keeping student data, processing enrolment forms, and arranging programme paperwork.
3. Collaborate with teaching colleagues involved in the programme to ensure that they have the necessary materials, knowledge, and tools to present courses effectively.
4. Enhance communication between instructors and students.
5. Workshops and seminars linked to the curriculum should be planned and coordinated.
6. Provide general administrative support, including meeting scheduling, generating program-related documents, maintaining programme calendars, and handling program-related communications.
**Qualifications and Job Competency**:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or higher. Master's-level applicants are preferred.
2. Strong familiarity with the higher education system, programme requirements, and academic policies.
3. It is advantageous to be familiar with accreditation criteria, curriculum creation, and programme evaluation procedures.
4. Excellent written and vocal communication skills necessary for interacting effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
5. Strong organisational and time management skills to efficiently manage many activities, fulfil deadlines, and oversee programme coordination.
**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
