**SUMMARY**:
The Food & Beverage Manager must actively display leadership and guidance to the service and culinary team. Deals with all aspects of guest contact activities and both service and delivery of quality product to customers. To provide supervision to the F&B team and Culinary team to ensure that there is efficient, systematic, organized and creative planning and preparation of events by maintaining a close working relationship with clients. The Food & Beverage Manager will also be responsible for managing kitchen food preparation and F&B service to ensure guest satisfaction.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Food and Beverage Manager must actively display leadership and guidance to the division when dealing with all aspects of guest contact and both service and quality product deliveries to customers.
2. Food and Beverage Manager must be a dedicated team leader that is present throughout service periods and special events, to provide support on an equal (or as needed basis) to outlet heads and team members.
3. Food and Beverage Manager must reflect the highest level of personal integrity and professionalism; a high standard in personal appearance; command respect from Associates; and as a consummate host when it comes to all matters of guest contact.
4. Food and Beverage Manager must demonstrate commitment to ensure that professional standards set for the hotel’s outlets are maintained at all times. This will call for constant re-evaluation of standards against latest trends to ensure the hotel is keeping up with international standards.
5. Food and Beverage Manager must strive to be well informed of local & international trends in F&B matters and adapt, through individual creativity and understanding of the business needs of the hotel, those ideas that are most applicable to the ongoing success of the hotel.

6. Food and Beverage Manger must command a comprehensive understanding of the administrative and cost factors that influence the profitability of the operation, without sacrificing quality standards.
7. To have thorough knowledge of the market situation in terms of business mix of competing hotels, their pricing structures, sales and marketing strategies and future hotel/restaurant planning.

Customer
- Monitors market metrix results, and to communicate the results to the team and use them to identify training required for improvement.
- Aims at providing customers with an enjoyable and memorable Food & Beverage experience.
- Constantly strives to increase guest satisfaction through quality, creativity, range and value for money of the Food & Beverage offering available throughout the hotel.

People
- Is an ambassador of Golden Promise culture and actively promotes this within and outside of the Department.
- Administers the Performance & Development Review and Performance Management within the department to deliver well-trained Associates at all levels and permit advancement for those qualified and interested in furthering their careers.
- Prepare Job Description for all job levels within the department.
- Is involved with Human Resources issues (i.e.: hiring, dismissal and discipline) for the department.
- To be the main liaison person in-charge of EET Café in terms of food & beverage and cleanliness of the café.
- To involve in all Associates’ activities that requires F&B assistance.
- Conduct regular communication meeting with F&B Service team and Culinary team. Oversees the entire communication meeting process.
- Understand the impact of turnover and can effectively control this within the department.
- Encourage empowerment in the department, supporting and effectively instilling this value to Associates.
- To assist Assistant Outlet Manager and F&B Supervisor in maximizing productivity and employee morale and in maintaining discipline.
