Job Title: Finance Associate (AP)

About the role:
We are hiring for the exciting position of Finance Associate, Accounts Payable to join our multi-national FSSC in Kuala Lumpur.
As the Finance Associate you will report into the APAC FSSC AP Manager supporting on all Accounts Payable responsibilities.
This role is hybrid, with a working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
**Responsibilities**:
- Processing vendor invoices (PO and non-PO) accurately, making payments and responding to AP queries.
- Investigating and resolving any invoice discrepancies with relevant parties on a timely basis.
- To ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the transactions processed as per BSI’s SLA and KPI.
- Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the purchase ledger.
- Actioning month end tasks in collaboration with the Financial Accounting team.
- Performing other duties as and when delegated, including back-up, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc tasks.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a Shared Service environment.
- Knowledge of SAP and PO Systems will be an advantage, including processing AP invoices.
- Good in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Ability to collaborate and be a team player.
