Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting the President through a combination of project management, writing and editing, research, and high level administrative and relationship support functions.The incumbent is expected to work independently in managing internal and external special projects in coordination with other departments and organizations on behalf of the President. It is critical that the incumbent is sensitive to confidential matters and observes a high-level of professionalism, tact,and diplomacy.

Outcome Measurements
- A competent confidante to the President
- Facilitation and alignment between President’s expectations and senior management team’s deliverables
- Effective representation of the President in interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
- Systematic organisation of information and submissions to the President

Key Responsibilities
- Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas as well as compiling documents for travel-related meetings
- Plans, coordinates and ensures the President’s schedule is followed and respected. Acts as"gatekeeper" and "gateway" in facilitating direct access to the President’s time and office
- Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff
- Drafts and reviews correspondence for accuracy and grammar as well as editing various documents including internal/external correspondences, including documents of a sensitive or confidential nature.
- Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the President, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature, and determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Works closely and effectively with the President to keep her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the President updated
- Participates in meetings, taskforces and workgroups both internally and externally on behalf of the President as assigned.
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles assignments expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the President

Minimum Qualification

Master/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal, Communication, Liberal Arts, Science, or equivalent qualifications with minimum of 10years of relevant working experience in administration, secretarial, project manage mentor special assistant to CEO/President/Chairman

Related Experience
- Solid background of experience and an impressive track record of innovation and attainment of goals in complex organizations, especially in a global enterprise environment and matrix organizations.
- Experience in organisational function, research, analysis and planning within a dynamic and challenging environment, working inclusively through people in a multi-cultural environment to achieve shared objectives.

**Salary**: RM20,000.00 per month
