**About the Role**

If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you in Operations Asia Pacific (APAC). In the role of **International Program Operations Manager APAC** you are accountable for overall delivery of operations services to International Program customers, for both the business portfolio produced by Corporate Solutions in APAC as well as the incoming business produced overseas and referred to the region for local servicing.

These services span along the entire value chain in Underwriting, Technical Accounting and Claims, but also include technical capability building and upskilling of colleagues. You will have a pivotal responsibility for ensuring the **International Program (IP)** proposition is conveyed and understood and supporting the delivery of IP services in alignment with the global operating model and guidelines. You will be a key driver to ensure process adherence, achieving service levels and reaching performance indicators for IP.

You engage with multiple business stakeholders and assist them in addressing internal and external customer queries, concerns, and feedback. In this role you will report into the Chief Operating Officer APAC, collaborate closely with the Head of International Operations, the International Program Lead for APAC, provide leadership and guidance to Operations colleagues in the business units, and interact with specialists at International Program Management and IP Services Hub in the APAC region. You will take ownership on strategic and operational priority tasks in your own role and as active member in the IP Global Community and the IP Regional Operations Manager Chapter.

You liaise and cooperate with local Underwriting, Customer Distribution Management and other functions and influence behaviours, provide expertise and steer to successfully manage international business in the APAC region.

This requires in-depth knowledge of international business processes and on the systems we use in the APAC region's and global IT technology platforms. You will actively collaborate with IT teams to ensure our systems reflect our evolving processes and are fit for purpose.

On behalf of IP Operations, you will be leading and driving business input in our technology capability initiatives, quarterly business review planning (QBR) and user acceptance testing for specific international business requirements. You will be comfortable using data analytics and digitization to improve data quality and automation.
- You will bring teams together across regions and functions to proactively collaborate to resolve problems and exceed customer expectations. You will become an active champion and driving force for the implementation of a business execution mindset throughout and beyond operations, and for operations service capability and know-how building for new business propositions in International Program and Innovative Risk Solutions / Structured Fronting._

**Accountability, main responsibilities, and activities in APAC Operations for International Programs**

**Developing & Upskilling**
- Develop and enhance role specific knowledge and skills for IP exposed Underwriting Assistants, Technical Accountants and Claims Operations Specialists in the region
- Onboarding, upskilling and empowerment of team leads and single contributors in IP operations roles in APAC to enable them to execute their mandates and escalate punctually in compliance with established IP Process and Roles & Responsibilities guidelines
- Develop frameworks and implement effective routines jointly with COO APAC for all IP exposed functions across the regions to foster a performance driven culture and achieve all performance goals per Swiss Re Corso's International Program proposition

**Coordinating & Service delivery**
- Acting as key contact and coordinator for bespoke service requests to APAC Operations triggered by the IP Exception referral process.
