Mandarin Speaking Business Development Manager

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
To conduct thorough market research to identify potential locations for new outlets.
To analyse demographic data, consumer behaviour patterns, and competitive landscapes to assess market viability.
To collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans for expansion into new markets.
To build relationships with landlords, real estate agents, and property owners to negotiate favourable lease terms.
To evaluate financial projections and perform cost-benefit analyses to determine the feasibility of new locations.
To present findings and recommendations to senior management, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
To develop and maintain a network of industry contacts to stay informed about emerging opportunities and market trends.
To monitor and track performance metrics related to business development initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
To stay abreast of regulatory requirements and zoning regulations that may impact site selection and development.
To continuously seek ways to optimize processes and improve efficiency in the site selection process.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field;
Proven experience in business development, market research, or real estate with a focus on site selection.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated and proactive with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to travel as needed to conduct site visits.
Knowledge of retail industry trends and market dynamics.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
Languages Proficiency Requirements: Mandarin, English, Malay
