**Key responsibilities**:
Your roles are to assist:
- Operation manager in Singapore in handling rice subsidiaries operations, whereby a team of 7-8 people (Executive and assistant) will be reporting to you for managing of overseas operations for the entities based in Africa and India.
- Marketing and business team in daily sales activities, logistics, trade and operations.
- The Profit center heads/sales managers in trade processing by preparing trades basis the costing discussed with PCH and provide customer service to the local teams based in Africa and India.

You shall ensure:
- smooth delivery of shipment by working closely with freight desk division, shipping agents, treasury team and overseas suppliers.
- vessel, thereby ensuring charter party agreement is timely signed after reviewing the terms.
- proper planning for the stock to be stored under CMA/SMA arrangement.
- Cargo loaded is of sound quality at origin and proper insurance coverage for all goods whether in transit or at destination.
- timely loading of cargo at origin and discharge of cargo at destination for bulk shipments.
- standard operating procedures are followed and suggest the improvement/creation of new procedures based on the changing business requirements.
- complete and accurate tracking of cargo in storage at destination and timely declaration to insurance.
- Timely revert to documentations & addressing to queries required from Insurance brokers.

Including
- negotiate the freight with the despondent/vessel owner and close the contract for bulk.
- calculate demurrage/detention/dispatch after every completion of each voyage accurately.
- process and send daily and monthly reports to various stakeholders.
- review and ensure accurate processing of trade/nontrade payments.
- review of trade and non-trade agreement/ contracts before they can be signed and executed.
- arranging monthly and quarterly business meetings to discuss on Financial and business performance.

You may get opportunity to travel overseas basis your performance to ensure procedures as set are in place and to have on -ground exposure on how the operations works which will facilitate effective performance and decision making in future.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
