Warehouse Executive

Job Purpose (Overall accountability) a) Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and efficient functioning of the warehouse. (Involves coordinating and supervising activities related to receiving, storing, inventory management, and dispatching of goods). b) Ensures that all processes are carried out safely, accurately, and in accordance with established company policies and procedures. c) Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, item locations, and tracking systems. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to prevent discrepancies. d) Oversee the receiving process of incoming goods, verifying the quantity and quality of items against purchase orders or delivery notes. Report any damages, discrepancies, or defects to the relevant departments. e) Efficiently allocate space for incoming products, ensuring proper categorization and organization for easy retrieval. Implement appropriate storage methods to optimize space utilization. f) Coordinate with various departments to process orders accurately and timely. Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure all required documentation is complete. g) Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring they are correctly packed, labeled, and ready for transportation. Work with logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries. h) Enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a secure work environment. Provide necessary training to warehouse staff on handling equipment, chemicals, and emergency procedures. i) Supervise and guide warehouse staff, providing necessary training, feedback, and motivation to maintain a productive and cohesive team. Ensure all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, are well-maintained and functioning correctly. Report any malfunctions or repair needs promptly. j) Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to warehouse operations, including but not limited to safety, security, and environmental regulations. k) Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity. Qualifications and Skills: i) Diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus. ii) Proven experience (3-5 years) in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. iii) Strong organizational and time-management skills. iv) Proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse management systems. v) Excellent communication and leadership abilities. vi) Knowledge of safety and health standards in warehousing operations. vii) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
