Technical Support Specialist

**Job Description**:
- Support regional subsidiaries, distributors and customers on Industrial Printing devices and related solutions that KM group carries, resolving their issues in a timely manner.
- Be the liaison person for related escalations
- Provide technical information to improve service quality and productivity of regional subsidiaries and distributors
- Provide technical consultation to pre-sales (and post-sales) of regional subsidiaries and distributors.
- Support regional subsidiaries and distributors to launch new products.
- Provide technical training on Industrial Printing devices and related solutions that KM group carries to regional subsidiaries and distributors.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deadlines as necessary
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform escalation of queries when required, and to continuously monitor and assist in the progress of the query till a satisfactory reply has been retrieved for regional subsidiary or distributor.
- Provide on-site support for installation in each regional subsidiary and distributors until initial printing quality becomes stable.
- Troubleshoot, reproduce and help resolve issues raised by regional subsidiaries or distributors.
- Receive technical information from Japan headquarter / manufacturer, and provide necessary suggestion to regional subsidiaries and distributors to enhance service quality and productivity
- Provide ad hoc consultations (both presales and post sales) to regional subsidiaries or distributors with regards to Konica Minolta Industrial Printing hardware, related software, and related technologies
- Conduct classroom and remote training to subsidiaries or distributors on Industrial Printing devices and related solutions that KM group carries.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain expert level knowledge of both hardware and software that deal with devices that KM group carries.
- Any other duties as deemed fit by management.
Job Requirement:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Computing Science/Information Systems or related technical areas
- Min. 4 years of working experience in printing industry
- In depth understanding and field service experience in Industrial Printing devices
- Work experience in Commercial Printing, or Label/ Packaging Printing Industry will be advantageous
- Experience of class-room trainer will be advantageous
- Good interpersonal and customer handling skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Fast learner, flexible and adaptable
- Responsible attitude and a willing-to-help-others mind set
- Willing to travel
**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
